Hello, I'm Anna.

I was born in Honduras and have lived in Nepal, Belgium, Barbados and Scotland. I now live in Cambridge, which I love because it is so international. 

 

I might not be your typical photographer because my background is actually in science (I have a PhD in neuroscience). However, the creative part of my brain has always been jumping for attention. When I first got married, my husband and I were given a given a very generous gift by one of our good friends who was also a professional photographer - one of his cameras. Along with the gift, he imparted what he'd learnt from his many years as a photographer and from that point on I was hooked! I took my camera everywhere and became that irritating person that keeps on wanting to pause for brief moments in order to capture something. 

 

This love of photography has just kept on growing, now 17 years later. My favourite subjects to take photos of are faces because I love stories and faces are stories written on skin.
